This site is a tribute to Carol Mills, who was born in Dagenham on November 21, 1948. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

We have set this tribute page up in memory of our lovely Mum Carol who sadly passed away on Tuesday 13th August 2024, in St Luke’s Hospice Inpatient Unit, surrounded by her loved ones. Our Mum was one of a kind. She was a sassy lady who loved her family & friends deeply & she will be missed more than any words can say.

St Luke’s looked after our Mum with so much care & dignity, as well as always considering our needs & concerns. Nothing was too much trouble. 

The after care from St Luke’s when Mum passed was second to none, the nurses, doctors, secretaries, volunteer companions, & all the many people that keep the cogs turning are just pure angels. We do not know how they do it but are so very grateful that they do. It is clear it is not just a job to them, it is a vocation that they excel in. Such an amazing charity that we will all be for ever grateful too. 

We would like to raise much needed funds, in our Mums memory, as a thank you to St Luke’s Hospice for the wonderful care they gave our Mum & our family. If you are able to make a donation, however big or small, we & St Luke’s will be truly grateful. Thank you.
